A Day in St. Maarten - Part 2

Our next stop on Bernard's Tour was to check out the sea life in St. Maarten. To say this area was beautiful would be a HUGE understatement. I can't think of any words to describe just how breathtaking it was!

The weather was gorgeous! It was exactly how I thought Caribbean weather would be. It was warm, but the breezes kept it at a comfortable temperature. The sun felt so good, but it was never hot enough to break out in a sweat. Simply heavenly! (Especially when returning home to 100+ degrees!)

The water was crystal clear!

This is the biggest starfish I've ever seen!

It was actually bigger than Marc's gigantic hand!

A Stunning View!

And me holding the same one. It felt so weird!

Active little thing!

Apparently, if you touch the spines,
you'll get quite a little shock!

The neatest part was that the guides would just walk over and pluck the sea life and bring it to us to check out. The water is so clean that the sea life love this area and were very abundant.

Next stop:  Orient Beach
